Nothing About Us Without Us
The disability community is the largest minority community in the world.
- 1 in 5 Virginians have a Disability.
- 2 in 5 Americans have a Disability.
Those without a disability are often labeled able-bodied – but that is not accurate. Those people are temporarily able-bodied. We are all one diagnosis, one accident, or one incident away from having a disability.
The disability community is the only minority community that anyone can join at any time.
Let your voice be heard!
